What is Hypnotherapy ?

Clinical Hypnotherapy is when a qualified Hypnotherapist guides you gently into a state of hypnosis for a therapeutic purpose, in a private, safe and professional setting.

Many of us just put up with the way our lives are going, even though we are not truly happy. Everyone of us has the ability to make things better for both ourselves and those around us. We just need to know how to make the few changes in our lives that will make a BIG difference to our future. Hypnotherapy offers you the potential to alleviate and overcome many of life's obstacles and barriers, which may today be stopping you from moving forward or progressing with your life in the direction you want to and rightly deserve.

Hypnotherapy can be used as a tool, often in conjunction with other therapies such as Counselling, Psychotherapy, Emotional Freedom Technique ( EFT ) and/or NLP. It can help identify, when and why an issue originated and how it has had a secondary impact on a person’s life. It can be used to help the client come to terms with that issue and overcome the particular problem they may have as a consequence, here and now, in the present. This enables the recipient to better manage aspects of life which may be of concern or causing unhappiness. Aspirations Hypnotherapy is about YOU learning how to take back control of your life, ‘Helping YOU achieve what YOU want from life’. Gayle offers this service to you on a confidential one to one basis.

How do I know whether a Hypnotherapist is Professionally qualifed & has undergone sufficient training ?

Hypnotherapy is not Government regulated at the moment in the UK, so it is important that when you are looking for a hypnotherapist you select a practitioner who is a member of a recognised professional association, and appears on the National Register of Hypnotherapists ( NRH ). An example of one of the professional associations is the National Hypnotherapy Society. This will give you the assurance that you are working with someone who has been properly trained and assessed, by an authorised Training organisation. The training organisation will have been assessed by the Professional Association to meet the quality & standards of training & education required by that Professional Association . A Practicing Member of a Professional association will also be governed by that associations code of ethics and should be fully insured to Practice.
